As part of our ongoing seminar series, the Centre of Research Excellence in Severe Asthma is pleased to host Conjoint Professor Peter Wark (The University of Newcastle, Hunter Medical Research Institute, John Hunter Hospital), for a webinar on Monoclonal Antibody Therapies for Severe Asthma. This presentation will be a public lecture and also available live and online.

Monoclonal antibodies have emerged as new therapeutic options for the treatment of severe, treatment-refractory asthma. This presentation will focus on currently approved therapies and treatments in development. It will also provide insights into the use of these therapies in the clinic.
For attendees that are able to make it in person, refreshments will be served before the seminar, starting from 12PM.
Dr. Wark’s presentation will be available as an online live webinar, and after the event will be available in the past webinars section of this website.

Peter Wark is a senior staff specialist and a conjoint professor with the University of Newcastle. His research focuses on the impact of infections on airways disease, with a particular interest in viral infections and acute exacerbations of chronic airways disease.
